German Black Peat
An excellent raw material for growing media
German black peat is extracted from the deepest and oldest layers of the peat bog, and it’s highly decomposed (H5-H8 according to the Von Post Scale).
It is generally used for the preparation of substrates mixed (or not) with other lighter peats.
Its peculiarity is that, being frozen, it still has a good capacity to absorbe and drain water.
