The superior quality vermiculite for all crops
Vermiculite is a natural, laminated mineral of the mica family that exfoliates when heat-treated at 1000°. During this process, the mineral multiplies because of the evaporated water. After the exfoliation, the particles have a harmonic shape and contain many air bubbles resulting in a lightweight structure. Thanks to its unique properties, is mainly used as a mulching agent in seedbeds or as a mineral cultivation substrate. It has a high humidity retention, but limits the formation of algal films on the surface of the substrate. It also has excellent cation exchange capacity, neutral pH and sterility.
Sun Ver has top characteristics among these minerals and complies with the standards of the Dutch quality mark RHP - Regeling Handels Potgronden. The extremely regular particle size facilitates mechanical distribution.
Furthermore, the product is characterized by a very low dust content. The product is available in two grain sizes for all horticultural applications that use honeycomb containers.
